Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is Turkey's national aerospace manufacturer. The company has evolved from licensed production of F-16s to full indigenous development of military aircraft. TAI developed the Hürkuş trainer, Hürjet advanced trainer, and is the prime contractor for the KAAN fifth-generation stealth fighter currently in flight testing.
