About NESCOM (Pakistan)
The National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) is Pakistan's principal missile development authority under the Ministry of Defence Production. NESCOM oversees Pakistan's ballistic and cruise missile programs including the Babur series (ground/air/sea-launched cruise missiles), Ra'ad air-launched cruise missile, Zarb anti-ship cruise missile, Nasr battlefield ballistic missile, and Ababeel MIRV-capable MRBM. NESCOM coordinates with the Nuclear Development Complex (NDC), the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), and Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT). The Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) — producer of JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak — also operates under the NESCOM/MoDP umbrella.
