About Huta Stalowa Wola
Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. (HSW) is Poland's primary armored vehicle and heavy artillery manufacturer, part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ). HSW produces the Krab 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer — one of the most modern 155mm artillery systems currently in service, with a Bofors AS90 turret on a K9 Thunder chassis derivative. Poland has donated over 18 Krab batteries to Ukraine, where they have proven highly effective in counter-battery operations. HSW also produces the Spider self-propelled mortar system, MSPO logistics vehicles, and undertakes the licensed production of various military systems. The Krab has been ordered by South Korea and is being considered by other NATO nations.
